Need controls for order of songs played on shuffle

Back in the day before the most recent update i used to put all of my songs on shuffle and go through what was playing next cutomizing it to fit what i wanted to hear. I can't do that now. The only way i can choose a song to play next is if i use 3d touch outside of the showing of songs playing next and then i can add it to up next but still can't adjust the order. Does anyone know why they took it away or how to fix it?
